The challenge was to the analyse the current market and positioning, formulate a full new brand identity, then implement this update across the digital platforms.
Starting with the ‘Discover’ phase of the Double Diamond approach, stakeholder workshops were conducted to break down what wasn’t working - leading to the revelation that the company name needed to be changed!

Challenge
Scottish Health Innovation Limited (SHIL) approached Media Zoo seeking to re-establish themselves as the best development partners in the healthtech market.
With their growth in this space in the last 20 years, the current brand identity had aged and competitors presented themselves as more modern and innovative.
The challenge was the analyse the current market and positioning, formulate a full new brand identity, then implement this update across SHIL’s digital platforms.

Solution
Starting with the ‘Discover’ phase of the Double Diamond approach, stakeholder workshops were conducted to break down what wasn’t working - leading to the revelation that the company name needed to be changed.
In the ‘Define’ stage a brand audit was compiled. The workshop’s insights were captured and combined with a competitor analysis, both of which uncovered potential spaces that SHIL could visually stand out from competitors.
From this base line, brand concepts were developed, pitched, and refined to create the final brand identity and guidelines.
With the website content and technical mapped concurrently by MZ’s Dev team, the website was designed and developed. It leveraged a component based page builder with full client authoring ability.
