Challenge
With the world’s eyes on Glasgow during the COP26 event, INEOS wanted to raise awareness of its investments in hydrogen technologies and to promote the use cases for hydrogen in the home, industry and transport.
Media Zoo needed to create an advertising and education campaign for COP26 delegates and for the general public.
INEOS asked Media Zoo to help reach the audience in what was a crowded media space.
The objectives were to:
Bring to life the ways that hydrogen can help reduce emissions and fuel in the future.
Highlight INEOS’ leading and innovative role in the transition to hydrogen.
-
Solution
Media Zoo developed a multi-platformed hydrogen advocacy campaign, under the messaging of “Hydrogen: Fuel of the Future”.
The campaign was promoted using motorway billboards, airport exhibitions, brand ambassadors, digital signage and hydrogen cars and buses - alongside a wider print and digital comms campaign.
The MZ Design Studios devised and managed the entire production of the collaterals - collaborating with external agency partners to ensure a consistent campaign in Europe and beyond.

Results
Overall, Media Zoo delivered over 350 pieces of media coverage across Europe, hitting major titles in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Scandinavia.
Over 7 million people including politicians, business leaders and other stakeholders, saw the advertising and billboard campaign.
